Peshwa or Pant Pradhan looked after finance and general administration. However, the office of Peshwa later became more powerful and the Peshwa functioned more as the prime minister. There was great focus on Intelligence and a centralised intelligence department was created.
Alauddin Kalji introduced an innovative Chehra and Dagh System wherein the Chehra system involved the detailed description of each soldier and Dagh system involved branding of horses. Strict review of the army from time totime was carried out.
Shaikh Hasan was another prominent Sufi saint of the Suhrawardi order, who lived during the 16th and 17th centuries in Lahore in present-day Pakistan. Before joining the Suhrawardi order he lived in the ‘company of yogi Gorakhnath.
After Sher Shah Suri conquered malwa from Qadir shah, he appointed Shujaat Khan as the governor. His son, Baz Bahadur, declared himself independent in 1555 CE. Baz Bahadur was the last sultan of Malwa.
