A man was employed on the promise that he will be paid the highest wages per day. The contract money to be paid was Rs. 1189. Finally he was paid only Rs. 1073. For how many days did he actually work?
The least number which when divided by 4,5,6,8 and 10 is the LCM of these numbers. But each time to get 3 as remainder, we have to add the remainder 3 to the obtained LCM.LCM of (4, 5, 6, 8, 10)+ 3=120+3=123
L.C.M. of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 is 120. So, the bells will toll together after every 120 seconds(2 minutes). In 30 minutes, they will toll together 30 + 1 = 16 times. 2
