During O.C test obtained no load losses (core loss) During S.C. test obtained copper loss (load losses) during loaded condition of transformer copper loss more significant than core loss.
Function of breather is to extract moisture from air going into the conservator. it is small container filled with silica gel. silica gel in breather will be blue colour when installed silica gel turn into pink colour when absorb moisture.
