The Vijayanagar empire which was established in southern India in 1336 by two brothers Harihara I and Bukka Raya I had a well-organized administration. King has the absolute authority in legislative affairs during the Vijayanagar empire.
Battle of Chausa was fought near Buxar. Humayun was badly defeated and Sher Khan adopted the title of Sher Shah. Humayun barely escaped with his life from the battle field.
Some of the activities which were prevalent during the Delhi Sultanate period are as follows: religious persecution, prohibition of public worship and destruction of temples. These was often vigorously enforced by the early Muslim rulers.
