Indian Railways is celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2022 in an appropriate and befitting manner keeping in line with the theme of this year's World Environment Day.
The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has extended the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PM-GKAY) scheme for another six months, till September 2022.
