Glaciers are found in the north in the Himalayas. The Thar desert is in Rajasthan in the northwest and the lagoons are in Kerala in the southwest. Unfortunately, we don’t have any icebergs in India or even in the Indian subcontinent.
Pre-monsoon rainfall in Karnataka and Kerala is known as mango shower (also known as April rains or summer showers). It helps in the ripening of mangoes.
