China's northern city of Tianjin ordered a second round of COVID-19 testing of all 14 million residents after discovering 97 cases of omicron variant during initial screenings.
The woman is a leukaemia patient and received a stem cell transplant from someone with natural resistance to the Aids-causing virus. An umbilical cord blood transplant was done, as a part of her cancer treatment.
