The Indian Air Force will retire one of its four remaining squadrons, MiG-21 fighter jets by 2022 September and the other three are scheduled to be phased out by 2025.
The Press Information Bureau was established in June 1919. In 1941, J. Natrajan became the first Indian to be head the Bureau as Principal Information Officer. The organisation's name was changed to the Press Information Bureau in 1946.
