The Indian weightlifter Vikas Thakur won a silver medal in the men's 96kg final with a combined lift of 346 kg at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.
The SSLV will carry EOS-02, an indigenously developed earth observation satellite, and Cubesat AzaadiSAT, which was developed by 750 school girls across 75 schools in rural India.
The astronomical observatory at the LS College, Muzaffarpur Bihar has been included in the UNESCO list of Important Endangered Heritage Observatories of the World.
