The Government of India's Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has notified guidelines on Extended Producer Responsibility for plastic packaging, under the Plastic Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2022. This aims to eliminate single-use plastic.
In the list of cities with the most millionaires, Mumbai has topped with 20,300 millionaires households. Mumbai is followed by Delhi with 17,400 and Kolkata with 10,500 millionaire households, respectively.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development has extended the PM Cares for Children Scheme till February 28, 2022. Earlier the scheme was valid till December 31, 2021. Under this scheme, Rs 10 lakh would be spent by the Government on each child.
