Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to hoist the national flag of India at their homes and offices between August 13 and 15 to strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement.
The central government has amended Part II of the Flag Code of India to allow the national flag of India to be displayed in the open and on houses and buildings "day and night".
