Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma has announced Government that the government has earmarked Rs. 300 crores from the externally aided projects to make investments in early childhood education programmes.
The new GST rate for pre-packed, labelled food items including rice, wheat, atta, paneer, curd, jaggery, lassi, buttermilk, labelled meat (except frozen) and fish has now been fixed at 5 percent.
