Forested wetlands are called as swamps. They are located all around the world. Freshwater swamps form along large lakes and rivers. Saltwater swamps are found along tropical and sub tropical coastlines.
Lake Ontario is one of the five Great Lakes of North America. It is bordered by the Canada and United States. It is the only Great Lake not to border the state of Michigan.
