The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved an MoU between India and Nepal for the construction of a bridge over the Mahakali River, which forms the border between India and Nepal.
Ministry of Textiles has extended the timeline for submission of applications under the PLI Scheme for Textiles till February 14, 2022. Earlier this deadline was 31st January 2022. Total financial outlay- Rs 10,683 crore.
The GST Council decided to defer the increase in the rate for textiles to 12% from 5%. It has referred the matter to a panel of Ministers, to review Rate Rationalisation.
