World Meteorological Day is being celebrated every year on 23 March to commemorate the coming into force of the Convention for the establishment of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in 23 March 1950.
The Ministry of Education has launched a campaign titled 'Bhasha Certificate Selfie'. This campaign aims to promote the Bhasha Sangam mobile app which allows users to learn 100+ sentences of daily use in as many as 22 scheduled Indian languages.
