Pune Metro project has been undertaken by MAHA Metro, an SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) of the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 12-km stretch of the total 32.2 km Pune metro rail project.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is scheduled to visit India on March 19, 2022, to participate in a physical summit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
