Krishna Deva Raya himself authored Amukthamalyadha. It is in Telugu. He was known as ‘Abhinava Bhoja’, ‘Andhra Pitamah’, ‘Andhra Bhoja’ as he was great patron of art and literature.
Qutb-ud-Din Ahmad Shah II, born Jalal Khan, was a ruler of the Muzaffarid dynasty, who reigned over the Gujarat Sultanate from 1451 to 1458. He succeeded the king Muhammad Shah II.
Some of the activities which were prevalent during the Delhi Sultanate period are as follows: religious persecution, prohibition of public worship and destruction of temples. These was often vigorously enforced by the early Muslim rulers.
