World Thinking Day, originally known as Thinking Day, is celebrated annually on 22 February by all Girl Guides / Girl Scouts, and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide.
The world-famous 'Khajuraho Dance Festival' is being organized in Khajuraho, located in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The festival is being organized on the theme of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The idea to celebrate International Mother Language Day came first from Bangladesh. The idea was approved at the 1999 UNESCO General Conference. The day has been observed every year since the year 2000.
Central Government has approved the continuation of the Scheme of Assistance to National Sports Federations (NSFs) for the XV Finance Commission Cycle (2021-22 to 2025-26). The outlay of this scheme for the next five years will be Rs. 1575 crore.
