The Government of India has approved a USD 1 billion line of credit (LoC) for Sri Lanka, to help the Island nation for importing food, essential items and medicine.
The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurated a newly developed 'Arogya Vanam' at the President's Estate, (Rashtrapati Bhavan) in New Delhi.
The biennial Rajya Sabha elections will be held for 13 seats. The seats will be spread across six states including five Rajya Sabha seats in Punjab, three in Kerala, two in Assam and one each in Tripura, Nagaland and Himachal Pradesh.
