The International Labour Organisation, in its report titled "World Employment and Social Outlook", has projected global unemployment to reach 207 million in 2022, almost 21 million more than 2019.
The Ministry of Textiles has further extended the timeline for submission of applications under the PLI Scheme for Textiles. Total financial outlay- Rs 10,683 crore.
