The government of India has contributed USD 800,000 to the United Nations(UN) as part of the initiative which aims to enhance public outreach of the organisation in Hindi.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has inaugurated the country's first 'Lavendar festival' at Jammu's Bhaderwah where the cultivation of lavender has transformed the economy of the mountainous area.
This year's theme is - The Power of Museums. The theme helps museums across the world organise events primarily around one idea, bringing harmony to the celebration.
