The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Vinay Kumar Tripathi as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways.
The eternal flame of Amar Jawan Jyoti was lit on the Republic Day of 1972 by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in memory of soldiers who laid their lives during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.
