Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has launched India Semiconductor Mission to attract large investments for setting up semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities in India.
The state government of Karnataka has set up India's first AVGC Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. AVCG stands for Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics.
