The governments of West Bengal and Sikkim have signed an agreement to help tourists travel between the two neighbouring states with ease in a bid to boost tourism.
India-born Gita Gopinath became the first woman and second Indian to feature on the 'wall of former chief economists' of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The measures include easing norms for FPI investment in the debt market, and increasing the External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) limit under the automatic route from USD750 million or its equivalent per financial year to USD 1.5 billion.
