The renowned hydrologist Wilfried Brutsaert is awarded the Stockholm Water Prize 2022 for his groundbreaking work to quantify environmental evaporation, helping to make accurate predictions of the impact that climate change has on local rainfall patterns and water sources.
The seminar has been organised by the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, in association with the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
