Marmagao Port is located at the mouth of the Zuvari-estuary in Goa. It is an important iron ore exporting seaport. It is connected to Karnataka via Konkan Railways.
The city of Allahabad was originally known as Prayag in ancient times. The Union Home Ministry has approved the proposal of the Uttar Pradesh Government to rename Allahabad as Prayagraj. Akbar’s grandson Shah Jahan renamed the entire city as Allahabad.
