Reserve Bank of India has mandated NBFC - Middle and Upper Layers with 10 or more 'Fixed point service delivery units' (as on October 1, 2022) to implement 'Core Financial Services Solution (CFSS)' latest by September 30, 2025.
The scheme has provided benefits to about 11.78 Crore farmers and funds amounting to Rs 1.82 lakh crore in various instalments have been released to the eligible beneficiaries.
The Government of India, the State Governments of Karnataka and Odisha have signed a loan agreement with the World Bank of the total worth of $115 million (INR 869 crore) for Rejuvenating Watersheds for Agricultural Resilience through Innovative Development (REWARD) Programme.
