As per the Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) study, India is all set and is on the proper track to become industrial trans-fat-free by 2022.
The Department of Pharmaceuticals, under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has notified the "Scheme for Promotion of Medical Device Parks". The total financial outlay of the scheme is Rs. 400 crores.
