Cyclonic storm 'Yaas' affected three States namely Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand. The Central Government, even before the receipt of memoranda from State Governments, constituted Inter-Ministerial Central Teams (IMCTs), which visited the affected areas of Odisha and West Bengal.
