Madagascar has become the 30th country to join the India-backed Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) which aims to help small island nations develop resilience to deal with the adverse impact of climate change.
Nirmala Sitharaman in the Union Budget 2022 announced that "any income from transfer of any virtual digital asset shall be taxed at the rate of 30 per cent."
