Paris-based Financial Action Task Force has added the UAE in its Grey List. It is a list of 23 countries of increased monitoring including fellow Middle-East nations Jordan, Syria and Yemen.
The government has raised the compensation to the kind of victims of Hit and Run Motor accidents to 2 lakh rupees in case of death which is an eight-fold increase from the current cap of 25 thousand rupees.
