The government of India has contributed USD 800,000 to the United Nations(UN) as part of the initiative which aims to enhance public outreach of the organisation in Hindi.
Union Minister for Power, New and Renewable Energy, R.K Singh, and German Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Change Dr. Robert Habeck virtually signed a Joint Declaration of Intent on an Indo-German Hydrogen Task Force.
It is being celebrated on May 8 to spread awareness about thalassaemia being a blood disorder, myths related to the disease, and to help the patients lead a normal life.
