ISS is the world's largest habitable artificial satellite in space and was launched in 2000, is managed by five space agencies- NASA (United States), Roscosmos (Russia), JAXA (Japan), ESA (Europe), and CSA (Canada).
The Government of India, the State Governments of Karnataka and Odisha have signed a loan agreement with the World Bank of the total worth of $115 million (INR 869 crore) for Rejuvenating Watersheds for Agricultural Resilience through Innovative Development (REWARD) Programme.
A week-long commemoration event titled Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate was launched by Union Minister of Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh and Union Minister of Culture G Kishan Reddy.
