Fairooz Faizah Beether of Bangladesh has been chosen for the 2021 Changemaker Award for her work promoting good health and well-being by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The government of Assam burned 2,479 rhino horns on September 22 on account of World Rhino Day. The objective of this initiative was to send a strong message and to bust the myth that rhino horns are storehouses of medicinal properties.
