The GST Council decided to defer the increase in the rate for textiles to 12% from 5%. It has referred the matter to a panel of Ministers, to review Rate Rationalisation.
Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare launched a Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization in 2014-15, to increase the reach of farm mechanization to small and marginal farmers and to the regions where farm power availability is low.
