The Indian Council of Medical Research has approved a test kit to detect the Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The kit is manufactured by Tata Medical & Diagnostics.
The Ministry of Textiles has further extended the timeline for submission of applications under the PLI Scheme for Textiles. Total financial outlay- Rs 10,683 crore.
