Madagascar has become the 30th country to join the India-backed Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) which aims to help small island nations develop resilience to deal with the adverse impact of climate change.
Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Dr L Murugan today said for the first time in the country, a seaweed park will be set up in Tamil Nadu to improve the livelihood of fishermen.
