The NITI Aayog has started the Fintech Open Month from February 07, 2022, in coordination with PhonePe. The overarching theme of Fintech Month of NITI Aayog is 'OPEN'.
With an aim to enrich and simplify bill payments in the country, NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd. (NBBL) has introduced a unique functionality called 'Unified Presentment Management System' (UPMS).
As per Census 2011, the absolute number of non-literates of the country in 15 years and above age group is 25.76 crore (Male 9.08 crore, Female 16.68 crore).
