NPPA is an attached office of the Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. It acts as an independent Regulator for pricing of drugs and to ensure availability and accessibility of medicines at affordable prices.
A Memorandum of Understanding on the promotion and financing of 700 JLGs was signed on Thursday and exchanged between NABARD, J&K Regional Office and Jammu & Kashmir Grameen Bank in the conference hall of NABARD, J&K Regional Office.
