Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Mr Shaktikanta Das announced Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) to facilitate inward gross payments for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to pay bills in India.
Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, launched the Online Market Place feature 'Aqua Bazaar' in the 'MatsyaSetu' mobile app.
The administration informed Parliament that concrete actions were taken by the RBI and government-assisted banks in recovering bad loans of more than Rs 8.6 lakh crore over the previous eight fiscal years.
