Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has launched the first public outreach programme, 'Lok Milani', which started in Chandigarh to reach out to citizens for redressal of grievances.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has inaugurated the country's first 'Lavendar festival' at Jammu's Bhaderwah where the cultivation of lavender has transformed the economy of the mountainous area.
The pilot project envisages training for about 250 beneficiaries of 17 clusters of 17 districts selected from six states of India- Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Odisha.
