Sweden has launched a pilot project to reduce the carbon emissions involved in steel production by switching some of the processes from burning coking coal to burning hydrogen.
The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) launched the "Svanidhi se Samriddhi" programme in 126 additional cities across 14 states and Union territories.
