RailTel launched the Prime Minister Wi-Fi Access Network Interface (PM-WANI) scheme based on access to its fast & free public WiFi services across 100 Indian Railways stations having 2,384 WiFi hotspots.
The pilot project envisages training for about 250 beneficiaries of 17 clusters of 17 districts selected from six states of India- Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Odisha.
Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Corporate Affairs and also India's Governor for the New Development Bank (NDB) chaired the 7th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of NDB through a video conference in New Delhi, Delhi.
