Bank of Baroda has signed an MoU with Assam Rifles, the oldest paramilitary force, to provide the Baroda Central Forces Salary Package to all personnel of the Assam Rifles.
In May 2017, the Central Government had launched SAMPADA (Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro-Processing Clusters) with an allocation of Rs 6,000 crore. The scheme was renamed PMKSY in August 2017.
Philanthropist and founder of Microsoft Corporation - Bill Gates has been conferred with Hilal-e-Pakistan, which is the 2nd highest civilian award of Pakistan. He is receiving this award as the co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
