Dadabhai Naoroji is known as the Grand Old Man of India. He is called so because of his 61 long years of immense contribution to Indian freedom struggle against the British. He served 40 years before the formation of INC and 21 more years after that.
Sir William Wedderburn remained the chairman of the Indian parliamentary committee till 1900. He was also an editor of the journal “India”. In 1895, Sir William Wedderburn represented India on the Royal Commission on Indian Expenditure.
