Pune Metro project has been undertaken by MAHA Metro, an SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) of the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 12-km stretch of the total 32.2 km Pune metro rail project.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated Pune Metro Rail Project and also interacted with differently-abled, visually impaired students present inside the metro coach, during his 10-minute ride in the Pune Metro.
