The Kanto Plain is the largest plain in Japan. It is in the Kanto Region of central Honshu. The plain covers an area of 17000 sq.km. Large number of plateaus form a part of this plain.
Forested wetlands are called as swamps. They are located all around the world. Freshwater swamps form along large lakes and rivers. Saltwater swamps are found along tropical and sub tropical coastlines.
