The Darjeeling hills woke up to a foggy monsoon morning on Sunday when polling for the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration election was conducted after almost 10 years.
The new sites include three wetlands (Karikili Bird Sanctuary, Pallikaranai Marsh Reserve Forest and Pichavaram Mangrove) in Tamil Nadu, one (Pala wetland) in Mizoram and one wetland (Sakhya Sagar) in Madhya Pradesh.
The government intends to launch Jan Samarth, a unified platform for the delivery of multiple initiatives with the objective of minimum government maximal governance.
