The Odisha Government has signed an MoU with the Chennai-based National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) for the protection of coastal areas from various natural calamities like floods, cyclones, soil erosion and high tide, etc.
The theme for 2022's International Day of Remembrance of and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism is "memories," as mentioned in a United Nations (UN) press release. The theme was selected after consulting with victims of terrorism and victims' associations.
