National Center for Polar and Ocean Research, an autonomous institute working under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, has successfully implemented the Polar Science and Cryosphere Research Scheme.
Indian Navy will be represented by INS Kirch, a guided missile corvette while Sri Lanka Navy will be represented by SLNS Sayurala, an advanced offshore patrol vessel.
